Little chunks

Here’s a song I wrote a few years ago for a short film my friend Anna was making. The song details the tragic vehicular sexcapades of a young couple. Notably, I managed to record every track on my own, despite not really knowing how to play any instruments.

Little Lemon Chunks [MP3, 2.1 MB]

Well he turned his head, it was the last time he would turn his head
She turned his head, and he ignored the things his conscience said
And off they zoomed, little knowing they were duly doomed
And now there’s little lemon chunks on Crater Canyon floor

Well they quickly kissed, and the traffic signs were hardly missed
Then more than kissed, in the speeding car a novel twist
And it was great, it was early then but now they’re late
And now there’s little lemon chunks on Crater Canyon floor

Well they went that far, but they forgot about the speeding car
They went just too far, and the vehicle went off the tar

They could have avoided the mistake
They could have landed on the brake, in fact they didn’t
They could have just died, and they did, in fact they did
And now there’s little lemon chunks on Crater Canyon floor
